A Fresh and Fabulous Start…

Many of you have already been in to see our renovations, but for those who haven’t made it in, here is a sneak peak:

It is looking great and we are feeling really inspired by the change!
Combined with all of the great new arrivals we have in store we suddenly feel like having a party, or three! They are listed below, so mark your calendars.
It is going to be a great season!

Here’s what’s New this week:

Schaart

Cheryl from Schaart has a new partner named Jocelyn and the 2 of them have been hard at work putting together new styles and upgrading the old. We have a small sampling in store now with lots more to come, so come in soon to be among the first to check it out.

And don’t forget that their official launch party is happening here at Tutta Mia on Thursday March 8th!

Kairos Clothing

We have been at it again, this time offering up some cute cigarette pants with a matching jacket, and a great little blue sweater that is the perfect blend of winter warmth and spring silhouette!

Tea and Cake Jewels
We have a new Jewelry collection in the store and we are so in love with it! Tea and Cake Jewels by local designer Cindy Tran positively oozes with femininity and glamour. We are already sporting one of the long necklaces with the pearl chains just about every day! And despite the costly look, the prices are great too!

Street Cat Semi-precious stones, hand crocheted gold and silver wire pendants and earring all in happy spring colours- need we say more!

Cecile Benac Knitwear
Arrived today! open weave knitwear is our obsession for Spring and Cecile has flooded us with amazing options!
We know many of you love it to so if you want be the first to see for yourself stop in ASAP!

New and Improved…

BIG changes are happening at Tutta Mia!

Next week we are renovating!

As a result we will be CLOSED Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb. 6th,7th and 8th) to paint, reorganize and remodel. We invite you to come in next week (Thursday the 8th) to check out our new look!

Plus the less we have to move the better, so today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) take 10% off everything in the store! (and when we say everything we mean everything, including already reduced sale items, leather goods, jewelery and more!)

We need your expertise please…

Big changes are happening with our designers this spring too, from name changes to new faces. But we could always use more, and since you are the customer, who better to ask then you!

So if you have any great designer friends that make Canadian designed and made clothes, jewelry or accessories that you think would be a good match for us at Tutta Mia please email me and let me know amanda@tutta-mia.com.

Fluxus

Famous at Tutta Mia for their gorgeous T’s, this early spring delivery of Fluxus does not disappoint!
We have a beautiful black long sleeve T, a tunic-length elbow length sleeve T in paprika or navy and 2 beautiful grey cardis to show off!

Shi belts, cuffs, pendants and earrings are a staple here at Tutta Mia, but we still get excited when we get new stock!

We have a lot of new styles arriving every week and to make sure we have room for our newest additions, this Saturday, November 12th, we are starting a huge SALE!

Please join us Thursday to launch the Fall/Winter Collection of Kairos Clothing, our in-house brand that we design specifically for Tutta Mia. This season’s focus is on knits, so we have beautiful sweaters, a gorgeous sweater skirt and an updated version of our signature trousers!

Also in keeping with our theme of knits, Cecile Benac of Cecile Benac Knitwear will be here as well with her beautiful handmade knitwear! With some of her new designs and of course some of the classic styles some of us cannot live without, you will have a great choice. We have some great new pieces from Gilmour in this week! Including a great printed version of the popular 1 pocket cardigan as well as some more great prints in the banded dress! Stock is limited, so come in soon to check it out…

We also received 2 new colors in the almost-as-popular-as-the-Cardigan Kendall dress- Cranberry and Navy!

This dress looks great on a variety of body types, especially when paired with a chunky statement necklace.

Many of our customers have purchased it to wear to work, since the higher neckline is less revealing.

But the best part- it is as comfortable as wearing pajamas!

New this Week at Tutta Mia:

Broken Doll Clothing-

Based in Calgary, Broken Doll Clothing is New Line at Tutta Mia and we have been positively obsessed since it got here.

It’s charming designer, Leah Bohnet says she uses Eco fabrics to make her clothes feel as cozy as Pajamas (they do) and the styles are the perfect example of what we do best here at Tutta Mia- basics with a twist. Though we love them all, if we had to pick a favorite it would have to be the cardigan pictured below. Yep, those are all pics the same cardigan tied different ways. More importantly, It also comes in black.

Did we mention the prices are reasonable too?

Genius!

Cecile Benac Knitwear-

Cecile’s sweaters are beloved here at Tutta Mia. For Fall she has changed things up a bit adding chunkier knits (so trendy and absolutely perfect for the cold winter they are predicting this year) to compliment her signature shawls and wraps. The colours are earthy and beautiful too.

But since many of her pieces are one of a kind it is best to check them out soon before all of her other fans get here to snatch them up and they are gone forever!

Street Cat Designs Jewellery

Another great newcomer to Tutta Mia, Street Cat Designs Jewellery is simply stunning. Features like hand crocheted gold and silver discs are combined with precious and semi-precious stones to create pieces that are truly amazing. It has been so popular over the last couple of days that we have already ordered more!

Exquisitely executed (they even mill their own fabric) the Tonia Debellis Collection is relatively new to Tutta Mia, but the few pieces we have received so far have flown out the door! This Fall we are doing it in a big way, so come in to check out the gorgeous hoodies and jackets as well as the perfectly structured equestrian-style pants and tailored pencil skirts.

Can you ever have enough Echo Rain? Probably not, so here are some cute and cozy new pieces to tempt you!

One of the coolest photographers we have seen in a while, Deborah takes her inspiration from East Van. To be honest, it was the gorgeous shots of our mural (right) that drew us in, but we knew the playful subject matter would hypnotize you too! As a bonus all of the cards are blank inside so you can fill them up however you like.

The Dilema:

The sun is still shining (thankfully!) and the glorious warm days of late summer and early fall are still ahead of us, but stores, especially Tutta Mia, are filled with gorgeous new clothes!

What’s a girl to do?

The Solution:

Summer may be short here, but the fall/winter/spring feels like one looooong season, the good thing it that because of that we can wear the things we buy now almost all year long!

Below is a tutorial for all of you that need some inspiration for Fall. We have focused on wearing them Now and Later, but all of the clothes featured are also New Arrivals so even if you are a fashionista who does not need the inspiration still be sure to check them out!
